This multitalented singer songwiter and musician (plays guitar,piano,bantar,and more has decided to go back to the basis of American Popular music "The Blues" and use this as venue to share hislove of music and spead his message of Peace to the masses. He had influences of James Brown, Jimi Hendrix and Richie Havens but decided to go back a little further to artists like Lightning Hopkins,B.B.King, Mississippi John Hurt, Furry Lewis for some inspiration. His contempoary influeces have been Taj Mahal amd Keb Mo'. He has self produced seven albums of original blues music over the past 9 years. Extened stays in Lousiana put him in tune with the Delta sound. He has played international in the countries of Germany, France and extended stay in Switzerland where he played the Lucerne Blues Festival from 1996-2001. His infectious musical style is a delight to people all over the world. From the coffeehouses of Bowling Green State University-Ohio in the 70's , to Southern California in the 80's to Switzerland and back he has played with numerous bands while still continuing his solo works.
Paul has written a large volume of music he labels "The People's Music" Miles won the Detroit Blues Society 1st Solo Performer of the Year award in 2002. he represented Michigan at the blues First International Competition and convention in Memphis, Tenn in Jan 2003. His CD titled 'A Peace of the BLues was nominated by the Detrit Music Awards 2005 for Best R&B/Blues Recording as well as best Blues writer. He was also nominated by "Great Stuff to do-2005, internet news magazine affliated with WWJ local 950am as best Entertainer for 2005, among those nominated were Kid Rock,Anita Baker, Eminen,and Alexander Zonchik. He was nominated for 2005 release Deep Water Blues for 7 final nominations for the 2006-Detroit Music Awards, including Best Album in two catergories Acoustic/Folk and Blues/R&B. In 2007 in March he was nominated for 8 more individual awards in both acoustic/folk/blues as instrumentalist ,vocalist, and songwriter. He has planned a new release of a new solo album- March -2007
